Join us for worship this Sunday. Join us at 9:45 a.m. for Coffee Fellowship in the Beacon of Love Activity and Social Center, followed by Sanctuary Worship at 10:30 a.m. Our address is 4421 NE Parvin Rd, Kansas City, MO 64117.
Our worship services include singing the old-time Gospel Songs and Hymns, fervent prayers, and dynamic, practical teaching from God’s Word.

OUR PASTORS
PASTOR CHARLES HAYTON
Pastor Hayton was born in 1943 in Huntington, West Virginia. At the age of five, his family moved to Natoma, Kansas, where he attended much of his elementary school years. His preacher daddy moved the family to Tulsa, Oklahoma in 1954. Then, in 1956, the family relocated to Boonville, Missouri. Pastor Hayton attended grades 8-11 in Boonville, attending Kansas City College and Bible School (KCCBS) his senior year in 1961. Following graduation from high school, he entered the college department at KCCBS and began preparing for pastoral ministry. It was during this time that pastor met his lovely wife, Carol. They were married in June of 1963 and began ministry in 1967, serving in churches in Missouri, Illinois, Alabama and Colorado.
Fast forward to 1992, Charles, Carol and their family began their ministry at the Lighthouse Chapel, where he served for six years. They returned to the Lighthouse Chapel in the fall of 2003 where they continue to faithfully serve.
ASSISTANT PASTOR STEVE TODD
Following his return to Missouri, the Lord blessed him with his wife, Tammy. They knew each other prior to his service in the military, and began dating when he returned. In 1998, they were married in Independence. Steve and Tammy have been blessed with four children and five grandchildren.
In 2017, Pastor Steve heard the calling to enter the ministry. After prayer and deep conversation with his wife, Tammy, and Pastor Hayton, he entered training and graduated with a B.A. Leadership and Ministry in 2018. Pastor Steve and Tammy are a big part of the ministries of the Lighthouse Chapel.
