· SENDING THE LIGHT OF HOPE
Amid the darkness of adversity, affliction or apprehensive, one small ray of hope can make a big difference. Job, the Old Testament character who went through great trials asked, “Where then is my hope?” The great Apostle Paul was to later write to the Christians in Rome, “We rejoice in hope”. A beacon of hope is always a welcome light.
· SENDING THE LIGHT OF LOVE
A pop song of some years back stated, “what the world needs now, is love sweet love”. Indeed, in today’s world the great need is to love and be loved. The Bible reveals God to be a God of love. The familiar salvation verse, John 3:16 states that “God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life” Amid the darkness of loneliness and gloom, a ray of love is always welcome.
· SENDING THE LIGHT OF HOLINESS
There is a holy God in Heaven. He has given us a holy book. He has commanded through this book that we are to be holy (I Peter 1:16) “It is written, Be ye holy, for I am holy. The light of the gospel enables us to follow the command and be as those Christ spoke of when he said, “Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God. (Matthew 5:8)
The Lighthouse Chapel endeavors through meaningful worship and the preaching of the Word to send out the Light of Hope, A Beacon of Love, and The Light of Holiness.
